Hu Wuyue, secretary of CPC Xuchang Committee, mayor of Xuchang People’s Government, met with Wolfgang Schuster, the district chief of Lahn Dill Kreis, Hess, Germany on November 20, 2018. The Memorandum of Understanding, which set out the direction, goals for the ongoing bilateral cooperation in 2019, has been signed at the meeting.

Mr. Hu expressed his thanks to Mr. Schuster for his support to Xuchang’s development, stressing that there is huge potential to be explored for bilateral cooperation on medical services, health and elderly care, education, manufacturing industry.

Mr. Hu also invited Mr. Schuster to attend the Three Kingdoms Cultural Week, an event held in Xuchang in April 2019. Mr. Schuster has agreed to lead his delegation to Xuchang to expand practical cooperation upon the invitation.
